Description
Hand Painted Moroccan Sink
Our Hand Painted Moroccan Sink features a rich design, vibrant black and white colors, and exceptional quality. This white ceramic basin is renowned worldwide, crafted in Fès, the ancient capital of ceramics.
For generations, pottery has been carefully handmade, maintaining a tradition that has persisted for centuries in this royal city. Several skilled artisans collaborate with us to select the design, color combinations, and patterns according to our specifications.
Manufacturing Process
The manufacturing process of our Hand Painted Moroccan Sink involves several steps:
- Hand Shaping: Initially, the pottery is shaped by hand on traditional potter’s wheels. A colored base is applied depending on the model, followed by firing in a kiln.
- Meticulous Painting: Next, the basin is hand-painted with carefully chosen floral or geometric motifs.
- Glazing: The basins are then glazed to seal and harden them before undergoing a double firing process.
The final product is a handcrafted ceramic basin that highlights the uniqueness of your bathroom.
Finding the Right Basin
Our Hand Painted Moroccan Sink is available in various designs. We offer a diverse range, including ceramic basins adorned with floral motifs or colorful ornaments. These designs add a Mediterranean style to your bathroom, subtly breaking the clean lines.
If you prefer tradition, opt for a basin from our classic range featuring the famous blue and white ceramics. This color palette is symbolic: white represents purity, while blue symbolizes water, the essence of life. The strong interplay of colors adds character to a modern tiled bathroom.
Our collection also includes basins decorated with geometric shapes and patterns, providing a modern and striking touch. Our black-and-white line is particularly expressive and elegant.
Installation of the Ceramic Basin
You can integrate your Hand Painted Moroccan Sink into your bathroom according to your preferences. Your basin can align with the countertop so that the edge extends over the intended surface. For this, a basin painted only on the inside will suffice.
If you want a classic installation, where the basin is visible from all sides, choose a ceramic basin decorated inside and out.
Notes
Each of our oriental basins is entirely handmade, making every piece unique. Almost all our Moroccan ceramic basins are painted inside and outside. Each basin is compatible with a standard siphon.
Maintenance
The hand-painted motifs are resistant to wear. Clean your ceramic basin with a soft cloth or sponge, warm water, and a mild detergent. Rinse cleaning products with running water and dry thoroughly. Clean areas around the faucet and joints with a toothbrush, avoiding abrasive cleaners whenever possible.
